I'm setting up CVRIOVS, a community of independent curious sites / newsletters, artists, creatives, researchers, writers, and more. It will be free to sign up, and we'll be developing ways to promote our members, and obviously models to earn money.

Anyone who has an independent website / newsletter will be able to join.

Set up your own newsletter / website

I suggest using AlwaysData, (referral link, which gives you 10% off), which is an EU host with a €50/year level which is more than enough for hosting your newsletter. You can also buy an inexpensive domain through them for roughly €13.

If you would like me to set everything up for you, there is a one-time fee of $75. But it is still yours.

This entire setup costs less than the annual fee for the lowest level of a hosted Ghost newsletter, with no limits in subscribers.

One thing that stops people from "self-hosting" their newsletter (ie. using an inexpensive host like AlwaysData) is you have to pay for a bulk email provider separately. I'll be using the proceeds to pay for a level of bulk email and provide free bulk email for their newsletter to anyone who uses the referral link.
